Thank you so much for your friendship, prayers and support through the years! I wanted to give you a brief report on the last quarter of training. 19 men completed the 9 months of ALERT training and graduated this past Friday. We are excited to see where God takes them, whether that is back for more training or elsewhere.
During the past quarter, we had men complete the following training:
3 in Aviation
6 in EMT
6 in Campus Support, and
20 in Cadre
Additionally, 39 men completed Basic Training Unit 65 the week before Thanksgiving.
Please pray for all of the men who have trained at ALERT over the past quarter, as the transition home can be difficult. The familiar people, schedules, and activities all make it hard to continue the healthy disciplines and patterns they started while here.
Please note that our office will operate with reduced hours between now and the first of the year. If you need anything from our staff during that time, please leave us a message and we will return your call when we are in the office. Additionally, our office will be closed from December 20 through 27 in celebration of Christmas.
One last note, ALERT Alumni, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 2022 ALERT reunion coming up January 28-30! Hope to see you there.
Captain Phillip Vanderford
ALERT Battalion Commanding Officer
