The Johnson Strings

Back by special request from their show in Branson, Missouri, The Johnson Strings are an award-winning family string ensemble that artfully combines musical talent, humor, and family togetherness into an inspiring and unforgettably delightful experience.

The Johnson Strings: one family working together, living their dream, and doing all for the glory of God.

Dr. Lew Sterrett

Director of a major camp and conference center, expert horse trainer, founder of a discipleship school, and a certified youth, marriage, and family counselor, Dr. Lew has a passion for Biblical Leadership Development. As audiences watch breathlessly, Dr. Lew skillfully tames wild horses while illustrating our own spiritual stubbornness and our Master’s kindness to continue drawing us to Himself. Dr. Lew shares his “Leadership Lessons from the Language of a Horse” across the nation, encouraging and equipping others to surrender to Christ and become effective as ministers of the Gospel.

Barry Ward

Barry Ward grew up on the western plains of Kansas where he worked alongside his father and grandfather, raising cattle and farming.  Becoming equally at home in a saddle or on the seat of a tractor with these rugged men, Barry brings his country experiences to life with his strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, love for his country, and those who fought to protect it. His song “Harvest in the Fall” concludes the documentary “The Great American Wheat Harvest” and his voice is included in the soundtrack for the film “Home on the Range.” He was also honored to perform at Carnegie Hall with a small handful of Western Singers with the Great American Cowboy in Concert.

Dr. Steve and Megan Scheibner

Dr. Steve and Megan Scheibner have spent the last twenty years developing parenting and youth character development resources designed to assist parents in their all-important parenting journey. Both Steve and Megan are trained Christian counselors with years of experience counseling couples, parents, and young adults.

As an airline pilot, Steve Scheibner was also scheduled to fly AA Flight 11 on September 11, 2001. Through a divine set of circumstances however, a rare last-minute substitution meant someone else would take his place. With this life changing event, Steve and Megan have continued to equip parents with renewed passion to live for Christ and equip a new generation of courageous, Christ-like leaders.
