Enrolling in Anchor Christian University is optional—but we are excited for the opportunity this gives our students to earn affordable college credit for their ALERT training, and accelerate the path toward college or career readiness.
Anchor Christian University has direct transfer agreements with several accredited Christian universities, or credits earned may be applied to ACU’s associate degree in Mission-Driven Leadership.

Phase 1: Basic Training (12 credits)
ACU Tuition: $1,500

Phase 2: Intermediate Training (15 credits)
ACU Tuition: $1,500

Phase 3: Advanced Training (Up to 15 credits)
ACU Tuition: $0 to $1,500
Option 1: Aligned 15-Credit course blocks are available for Cadre, Leadership & Communications, and Missions.
Option 2: Certificate-based training options that earn industry certifications may transfer back into ACU at no cost and apply them toward the associate degree.
Associate Degree Completion (18-21 credits)
ACU Tuition: $150-$250/credit
Available as integrated courses for select students invited to leadership roles at ALERT or as online courses with ACU.
Admissions Requirements
High School Transcript
ACU needs proof of high school graduation or equivalent (GED). A homeschool transcript is fine as well.
Ministry Leader Reference
You will enter a pastor or ministry leader’s email at the end of the ACU application. They can fill out an online form in just a few minutes.

Anchor Christian University has direct transfer agreements with several accredited Christian universities, including:

Credits are potentially transferable to other colleges or universities, but each school determines its own transfer credit policy.
Will I have to do extra work to earn credits?
Adding Anchor Christian University coursework to your ALERT training is designed to be simple and integrated. Most course requirements are already built into each phase of ALERT training.
Students complete a brief weekly journal with about 30 additional minutes of reflection and may participate in a final review interview with an ALERT-aligned ACU faculty member. For the most part, your primary responsibility remains the same: fully committed to your ALERT training.

Is financial aid available?
ACU does not participate in any federal aid programs, for both philosophical and practical reasons. But the tuition rate ALERT students pay is deeply discounted, so the net cost is still less than it would be for most students who qualify for federal aid at another school.
ALERT Academy scholarships & discounts do not apply toward ACU tuition.
How does payment work?
Payment for ACU tuition will be processed through the ALERT Academy; ALERT will forward it on to ACU.
