In late July, the St. Louis, Missouri, area received record rainfall that led to flash flooding. The Dardenne Creek rose more than 20 feet in less than six hours during the storm. Additional rainfall continued to exacerbate the flooding in the days after the initial storm went through. ALERT deployed 2nd Phase last week to help Samaritan’s Purse with the cleanup efforts. Disaster deployments like this give our men the opportunity to serve those in need, and open doors for the gospel into areas we would not normally reach. Please pray for the families impacted by the flooding, and for the gospel seeds that were planted by our team last week. Also, pray for us as we evaluate deploying to the Dallas area after the historic flooding Sunday and Monday of this week.
