This past weekend we celebrated ALERT’s 30th anniversary (the actual anniversary was yesterday, February 12) with over 700 alumni and their families, the battalion, and our staff.
The weekend was a great time of reconnecting with people, celebrating the past 30 years, remembering alumni who have passed away, running the Caleb Nelson Memorial Race, playing gatorball, doing a mini-snake walk, drinking gallons of coffee, doing PT, and more. Photos are still being edited, but as they get finished they’ll be uploaded into the Reunion’s Flickr album.
We also premiered our new 30 year documentary video on Saturday. That video is now live on our YouTube channel. Click below to watch it, like it, comment on it, and share it with people who weren’t able to be there last weekend.
All of us here at ALERT are so grateful for the faithfulness of God over the past 30 years, over the past weekend, and even over the past minute of our lives as He continually holds us in His hands and cares for us. And as we look towards the uncertainty of the future, we know that we can trust Him with the next minute, weekend, and 30 years.
Praise God!
