Last night, Unit 70 completed R-Night and entered Basic Training. In addressing the new unit, Captain Hawley asked the recruits to finish a phrase for him. When he stated, “out of struggle…” they responded, “comes strength.” That strength is built during the long days of Basic Training. Captain Hawley encouraged the men of Unit 70 to embrace the struggle—knowing that each aspect of their training is designed for their benefit and growth. He encouraged them to look above every difficulty they will encounter in their training, and see and declare the goodness of God—the One who equips, sustains, and satisfies.

Please pray for the men of as they begin their first full day in Basic Training today, and keep them in prayer over the next nine weeks of Unit 70.
